This is
a hands-on class filled with lots of ideas to create background design that will make your quilts unique.
3. New
Class!!! Add WOW with thread painting, Class 208, April 14th 8am-12pm. Hands-on class
This class
shall be taught by Cathy Franks. Kit fee $15. In this class I will show you how to create forms and designs using threads
according to color and color value. The direction and kinds of lines of quilting can make or break the design. You will make
a sampler of flowers and leaves to serve as your take home guide.
4. Borders
and bindings oh my! Class 324, Wed. April 14 2-4 pm, lecture class on how to put your borders and bindings on with your longarm
machine! Yes111 it can be done and it is easy!
5. We’ve Only Just Begun! Class
#406, April 15, 8-10am. This is a lecture class that will smooth your way to a successful start in longarm quilting. I will
give you tips on how to avoid my mistakes.
6. Coloring
the quilt, Class #413, April 15, 2-4pm. This is a lecture class on how to add color to your quilts using colored pencils,
paints, inks transfer paints, oil sticks and more.
7. Add
Wow with thread painting Class #617. Sat. April 17, 11-1pm. Lecture class on how thread painting can add dimension and texture
to your quilts.

Yes you can put your borders and binding son with a longarm and it is so EASY!!! I’ll show you how to do this in class.
4. Joy of Threadpainting, Class #409, Fri. May 7th 10:30-12:30pm.
Lecture class on how thread painting adds dimension and texture to your work.
5. You Can Do That On a Longarm? Class #501. Sat. May8th 1-5pm. Hands-on class
on how to add embellishments such as fringing, capturing, flash and trash and more with your longarm!
6. Running Amuck with paints. Class #509, Sat. May 8th 10:30-123:30
pm. Lecture class on how fabric paints, transfer paints, inks and more can add unique looks to your fabrics and quilts.
